| When a portfolio review is requested we will require you do the following:

Carefully select material that best represents the depth and style of your collection. Digital files are preferred. For still images, please send JPEG RGB, 500 pixels on the long dimension; transparencies and prints are also welcome for portfolio review. For video and animation, please send Quicktime .mov or .mp4 files; please do not send videotapes, if possible.

Websites, CD-ROM and DVD are all acceptable methods of submitting your portfolio.

|
Suggested quantities:
|
|
|
Still Images: - Photographers: 50 to 100 images. - Scientists: 10 to 20 images - Illustrators: 5 to 20 images
|

|
Videos and Animations: - 5 to 10 short samples in the Quicktime media format; NTSC, 720x480 or smaller; 29.97 frames per second; file format may be either .mov or .mp4.

Please package your work carefully. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage in transit.

|
Photos: Transparencies of any size should be placed in clear plastic sheets. Similar subjects should be placed in close proximity for more efficient editing.

|
All media: CD-ROMs and DVDs should be placed in jewel cases and mailed in sturdy boxes or well-padded envelopes.

All submissions must be clearly labeled with your name or your company's name, address and contact information.
|
|
|
Any material featuring people or property should clearly be marked whether releases are available or not.
|
|
|
Still Images: - Digital files: Please provide caption material in a separate digital text file or embedded on the images themselves, using IPTC headers. - Transparencies and prints: include the information on the slide or on a separate caption sheet or digital text file.
